AWAKEN YOUR HEARTwith ELISHome

What is Heart Imagery?

Heart Imagery is an ancient system originating from Tibetan, Sumerian, and Vedic spiritual mystery schools. Recently, the powerful techniques of Imagery have been used to treat patients in various health centers for stress and pain management, as well as in psychotherapy.

Heart Imagery teaches you how to balance your mental, emotional, and physical bodies while harmonizing your energy. It is a valuable tool in our time for aligning with the current feminine energy cycle of Mother Earth, which has been increasingly present since December 21, 2012.

It offers a wonderful, powerful way to ride the wave of this new phase of Consciousness—allowing you to experience wholeness, deeper aliveness, clarity, an enhanced childlike wonder for life, and a true understanding of who you really are.

A wave curling over the setting sun

Heart Imagery is a holographic language of the world that helps you become your authentic self, moving beyond layers of limitation and ignorance. In imagery, you see, sense, feel, and know. While daily activities are often experienced horizontally—with awareness pointed at the surface of things—imagery is experienced vertically. It directs you inward, allowing you to access your true depth. Each image gradually helps you transcend the ordinary limitations of daily life, connecting you to your vertical axis, your Higher Self, and your spirit.

Through these techniques, healing occurs within the mental, emotional, and physical bodies, empowering you to transcend limiting belief patterns and emotional blockages. It is essential to understand that by actively working through these blockages, you prevent physical illness and a poor quality of life. As you holistically heal and harmonize your energy to its full capacity (physically, mentally, and emotionally), you naturally align with your authentic self, your purpose here on Earth, and the life your heart truly desires.

Spiritually, Heart Imagery is a profound tool for expanding consciousness and connecting with our spirit, infusing our spiritual journey with a sense of childlike wonder and joy. As we practice and master these techniques, the clutter and noise of the mind subside, allowing our true inner awareness to arise. Healing and emotional clarity are essential steps before deepening our inner spiritual journey.

You will learn to:

  • Move your consciousness from your brain to your heart.
  • Energize, empower, and cleanse your chakras.
  • Shift your energy from negative emotions (like fear and frustration) to positive states of love, peace, and harmony.
  • Release fears and anxieties to stay centered and heal yourself.
  • Use tools to transcend limiting belief patterns and emotional blockages.
  • Utilize your life force (Prana) to effectively cleanse and energize your system.
  • Clear your dreams and nightmares to facilitate lucid dreaming.
  • Embody presence, feeling more alive and connected to Mother Earth.

What is Zen Shiatsu?

Roots in oriental medicine and philosophy

Shiatsu is rooted in traditional Japanese medicine and East Asian philosophy, which differs significantly from Western medical principles. It is based on the philosophy of Yin and Yang and the flow of vital life force, known as Ki in Japanese or Qi in Chinese. This energy flows through the body via channels called meridians.

Another cornerstone of this understanding is the Five Elements (Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, and Wood). Their interplay represents the various transformations of Ki; a disharmony in one element is often passed to the next in the cycle. While Shiatsu was formalized as a distinct therapy in Japan during the 20th century, its origins lie in ancient Chinese techniques like Do-in (similar to Yoga) and Anma (similar to Western massage). These traditions were introduced to Japan over a thousand years ago, deeply influencing the development of Japanese traditional medicine.

About the treatment

To begin the session, we will have a brief conversation about your current well-being. By combining the information you provide with a Five Elements analysis, intuitive energy diagnosis, and physical touch assessment, I tailor the treatment specifically to your needs. My focus is not only on the immediate area of pain or concern but also on the deeper, underlying causes of the condition.

Shiatsu is a tool for treating the whole person, helping you become more aware of your own natural healing power. This process includes a realization of your own role in maintaining your health and, if necessary, taking steps to adjust your lifestyle to better support your well-being. During our session, you will receive personalized lifestyle recommendations and practical tools for self-healing.

Shiatsu – holistic health approach

The vision of Shiatsu is to balance body and mind by addressing meridian imbalances. It aims to treat not only the symptoms but also the deeper cause of any health condition. By incorporating the principles of Yin and Yang, we view health holistically: Yin is silent, receptive, and internal, while Yang is active and outward-facing. While symptoms appearing on the surface are Yang, the root of the condition—often deep and hidden—is Yin.

One way to illustrate the properties of Yin and Yang in terms of health is to think of a blade of grass. The grass growing above the earth is Yang; the roots below are Yin. No matter how many times the grass is cut, it will eventually grow back unless the roots are removed. Similarly, treating only the Yang part—the symptoms of an illness—is not a sustainable solution, as the problem will continue to return. Therefore, it is essential to treat the deeper cause and strengthen the entire body-mind system.

Shiatsu is practiced with both hands: while one remains static and receptive (Yin), the other applies pressure along a meridian (Yang). This creates a current between the Yin and Yang hands, stimulating the flow of Ki/Qi. This energy can be understood as an electrical current between positive and negative charges, or a magnetic field between two poles. Meridians are channels of living magnetic energy; they possess higher electrical conductivity than surrounding tissue, allowing bioelectrical flow to move more easily through these pathways. In a healthy state, Ki/Qi flows freely and in perfect balance.

According to East Asian philosophy, when the internal organs function abnormally or external stressors occur, energy stagnates within the meridians, leading to illness. To restore health, this energy must be released and normalized.

The state of energy (Ki/Qi) within the meridian lines is defined by Kyo and Jitsu—concepts closely related to Yin and Yang. Kyo represents a state of depleted energy or hidden potential, while Jitsu refers to a condition of excess energy. Shiatsu addresses the functional harmony of the meridian lines, resolving imbalances that may originate in either the body or the mind.
